The Bergh crew hosted their annual production sale on a very wintery day.  Several inches of snow fell closing many of the roads in the area.  Despite the blizzard conditions a nice crowd did attend the auciton.  They sell a good group of perfomance bulls without sacrificing calving ease and maternal traits.  They also sell a good group of Registered open replacement females and a large group of open commercial heifers.

Solsaa Angus, Hayti, SD paid $18,000 for RBM Rocky Z232.  He is a February 14, 2012 son of VAR Rocky 800029.
Bruce Schultz, Lake City, SD bid $9,000 to own RBM Rocky Z220.  He too is sired by VAR Rocky 800029 and was born on February 15, 2012.
Steve Maag, Watertown, SD also paid $9,000 for RBM Rocky Z23.  Yet another son of VAR Rocky 80029 who was born on January 7, 2012.
Rich Lehmann, Havanna, ND bid $8,500 to own RBM Rocky Z221.  He is yet another son of VAR Rocky 80029 that was born on February 13, 2012.
Corey Eberhart, Java, SD paid $8,000 for RBM Focus Z02.  He is a December 31, 2011 son of Connealy In Focus 4925.
Judy Marka, Watkins, Mn paid $5,300 for RBM Ann Basin Z65 the top selling female.  She is a January 27, 2012 daughter of SAW Prime Focus 9053.
The Thomas Ranch, Harrold, SD bid $15,000 to own RBM Bluegrass Z38.  He is a polled January 12, 2012 son of LT Bluegrass 4017 P.
R Lazy B Charolais, Nome, ND paid $7,500 for RBM No Doubt Z34.  He is a polled January 11, 2012 son of EC No Doubt 2022 P.
